Frequently asked questions

Can't find your answer? Send us a message or DM us on Instagram.

How far ahead should I order?

Each menu item shows how much notice it needs and the next date we can make it. Most need 5 to 10 days; two-tier cakes need about 3 weeks.

For custom orders, give us at least 2 weeks. Weddings, quinceañeras and big holidays fill up early, so reach out as soon as you have your date.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Menu orders are paid in full at checkout. Custom orders are booked with a 50% deposit, and the balance is due 3 days before your date. Custom orders under $100 are paid in full.

Your quote holds your date for 72 hours. After that, the date opens up again.

Do you deliver? Where can I pick up?

Yes! We deliver around the East Valley (Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, Queen Creek and parts of Phoenix) for $25. Checkout tells you if your ZIP code is covered.

Pickup is in Mesa. We send the exact address after you order.

Can you ship a cake or cookies to another state?

We wish we could! We bake under Arizona's cottage food law, which only allows us to sell our food within Arizona. Perishable items like buttercream cakes, cream cheese, fresh fruit and chocolate also have to be handed to you in person, so we can't ship them or send them through delivery apps.

Our stencils aren't food, so those ship anywhere in the US.

Can you make something for someone with a food allergy?

We bake in a home kitchen that also handles milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts and sesame, and we have pets. We list every ingredient and allergen on each product page and on your label, but we can't guarantee that anything is free from an allergen.

If someone has a severe allergy, we may not be the right bakery for that order, and we'd rather tell you honestly. Read our allergen policy.

Do you make vegan or dairy-free cakes?

Sometimes. We've made cakes made without dairy or egg ingredients before. Ask in your custom request and we'll tell you what's possible. Keep in mind it's still baked in our home kitchen alongside dairy, eggs and wheat.

Can you make a cake with my kid's favorite character?

We love a themed party! We create theme-inspired designs (the colors, the vibe, the little details) rather than copying characters owned by big studios and brands.

If you'd like the character itself on the cake, you're welcome to add a store-bought topper or figurine at the party. Tell us in your request and we'll leave a spot for it.

How do custom orders work?

Fill out our custom order form with your date, guest count, theme, flavors and up to 5 inspiration photos. We'll reply with a design and a quote. Pay the deposit from your quote to book your date.

How can I pay?

By card through Stripe, including Apple Pay and Google Pay. We never see or store your card number. [PLACEHOLDER: owners to confirm — whether balances can also be paid by cash or Zelle]

What if I need to cancel or change my order?

Let us know as soon as you can. Our cancellation policy explains what's refundable and when, and design changes are easiest when we still have plenty of time before your date.

Can you deliver to our venue and set up the cake?

We can deliver to your venue in our area, and we'll hand the cake to your coordinator or whoever's receiving it. Arizona's cottage food rules don't allow us to set up, stack or cut cakes on site, so every cake arrives fully assembled, boxed and sealed.

How do I get my cake home in the Arizona heat?

Bring an air-conditioned car and cool it down before pickup. Carry the box flat on the floor or in the trunk of an SUV (never on a seat), and head straight home. Put it in the fridge, then take it out about an hour before serving. More tips are in our cake care policy.

¿Hablan español?

Yes! The whole site is in Spanish too (tap ES at the top of any page), and we're happy to chat in Spanish by text, DM or email. Pick Spanish when you order and your emails will come in Spanish as well.
