The fine print, made friendly
We're an Arizona cottage food business
Arizona lets home bakers sell food made in their own kitchens. Here's what that means for your order.
What is a cottage food business?
Arizona's cottage food program lets people bake and sell from their home kitchen after registering with the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS). Each preparer completes food handler training, registers the foods they make, and renews the registration every three years.
It's different from a commercial bakery: we bake in our home, in small batches, to order.
What it means for you
- Your order stays in Arizona. We can only sell and deliver our food to Arizona addresses.
- Perishables are handed over in person. Items with buttercream, cream cheese, fresh fruit or chocolate go straight from our hands to yours, in two hours or less, with no delivery apps or porch drops.
- Everything is labeled. Each item lists its full ingredients by component, the main allergens, our registration details and the production date.
- Boxed and sealed. Cakes leave our kitchen finished and sealed. We can't assemble, stack, cut or serve them at your event.
The statements Arizona law asks us to show
These two statements appear on every food listing and on every label, word for word.
This product was produced in a home kitchen that may come in contact with common food allergens and pet allergens and is not subject to public health inspection.

Our stencils aren't food, so none of this applies to them; they ship anywhere in the US.
